I have to admit, I totally took this picture just because I liked the contrasting textures.
Just a random shot I enjoyed after a long week of shooting objects on tables. And sure
enough about three other people watched me take it and went to the same spot after
me and took the same photo. Not sure why.
It was on the sixth day of coverage of Milan Design Week, I actually had to go back
to a section of the city that we had already been to earlier to get just a last couple
exhibitions. This allowed me to focus on watching the public going in and out and all
around events that I had already spent a day seeing. I’m really unsure whether people
saw this guy with a pack, press bags over one shoulder, and something bigger than a
point-and-shoot over the other and they just wanted to take a picture of whatever he
was OR I helped people see the beauty in the experience of simply being in a place.
I’m going to opt for the later.
